Took several Rock Hunting Trips to N Carolina…took several Fly-bus tours to Utah, Arizona, Oregon. Took several cruises to Bermuda, Bahamas, Panama Canal, PuertoRico, Columbia, Venezuela, and most of the Islands

My wife, Eileen Anderson (49), and two sisters Carol (44), and Janet (41) all were Graduates Of GNHS. I lived in Great Neck from 1928-1973…Carmel NY 1973-1986 …then Boynton Beach From then to now. I was originally in the class of 1945. When in Kensington grammar school he class was split into 1945, and 1946 graduations. The junior high was under construction at that time I spent 38 years working in Wall Street
I graduated from R P I in 1951 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I married Nancy Kay Mayer. I went on active duty with the Marine Corps. For 3 years …worked in operations management at a non ferrous metal plant for Phelps Dodge (10 yrs) and Amat (26 yrs)…retired as President of an Amat division…moved to Asheville NC …we travel, play little golf, and volunteer especially for HABITAT FOR HUMANITY… celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Rainbow Room in NYC with all the kids and grand children.
Left Great Neck in 1981 to move to Dallas TX. Lived there until 1989, when I movedto Clearwater Florida. Daughter, Jacqueline (Jacque) is new CEO of Future Smart Inc in Salt Lake City. She has one daughter Ashley, 13, one of our sons Michael, lives in Denton TX. His daughter Kim has just graduated from Pace University in Pleasantville has just gotten a job in the press corps of Governor Pataki’s office. His son Mike is a Jr. at RPI majoring in computer science. He took off a year to work at a computer Company in Albany NY His son Dylan and daughter Madison live in Denton with their Dad.

wanted to be a poet. Worked in a publishing house…met my husband at one…married
1955…lived Paris 1955-59. Returned to New York with two babies…eventually moved
to Larchmont, NY, where we have lived ever since, except for three years in S
Africa…in 1964 went to new school of poetry workshop…became a poet…four
collections published: also poems in anthologies & magazines…have given
poetry readings over the years. Taught
English dept. Ionia College in New Rochelle NY for 15 years. Taught
poetry writing to street boys in Johannesburg South Africa & to students at
University of Wit Waters Rand in Johannesburg. Have taught literature and
writing workshop at Sing Sing prison. Am now teaching the same thing at Bedford
Hills prison for women. One of my sons, his wife, and three children live in
White Plains—so I am lucky! Another
lives in Manhattan, plus one on Canadian border, and one in California. My husband is a specialist on Africa.
We led a nomadic life –Lived in Chicago, Catonsville, Md., Millbrae Cal., Wyckoff NJ, Paris France, Geneva Switz, Taipei Taiwan, Ft Lee NJ, e Australia, and HHI SC…. Past president of International Women’s Club in Taiwan. My husband took early retirement as an executive of Mobil Chemicals. Daughter in Dallas, TX. Son in LA Ca. and one in Cherry Hill NJ. Grand daughters in LA, and Cherry Hill who will enroll in R P I this year. We’re avis travelers, who have been around the world, and visited 110 Countries. We are members of Circum Navigator Club…hdqrtrs in NYC.
